This is a chair that I put together using some fun map? fabric. I thought how perfect for a little guys room. so I grabbed the fabric along with a couple of coordinating fabrics and that I liked and was out the door a happy customer. Well as I got home and was putting the slipcover together I chuckled as I realized that it was a Very whimsical depiction of the sea and its various islands like one of the Islands is California and the other really don't even have real names! oh well. never the less its fun and the ships are way cool! and I hope that there will be a very happy Camper or should I say pirate that will have some great imagined adventures in this chair.

Never mind the motif, still a very cute slipcover. Love the hardware detail in the back; have been thinking about trying to incorporate different type of hardware in my slips.
that fabric is awesome! where did you get it? my boys would love that. is it home decor weight?the chair is awesome! i want it!
Thanks Katie I got this fabric from a fabric outlet here in Minnesota yes it is Home Decor weight but I was in such a hurry to get working on it I did not pay attention to who makes it and have not been able to find any more of it :( thanks for the complement on it though
thanks for getting back to me on the fabric. i will keep my eyes open for it.
you should knit surface! not hard at all. I love htis sweater, and i wear it all the time. I do hate doing yarn overs though. Where the pattern calls for a yarn over in the blister pattern, i would just knit in the front, back, and front of the stitch for the increases.
If you do start it and need some help i will send you a more detailed message. this is one of my favorite knits!
