Well I just finished up another project and here it is. a slip covered chair and footstool for Andrea who was looking to add a little color to her living room and by George I think we did it. She really likes those traditional country colors and they look great in her country home. I was really pleased with the way it all came together and Andrea was wonderful to work with!

Some Projects Downstairs
Yesterday after a morning of running around I decided that it was time to get this pillow put together, its been on the list of things to do for about 2 weeks now. The fabric is a Beautiful piece of vintage barkcloth depicting an old cabin in the woods, it was a gift from my friend Claire from the hog shed. I have one more panel left and will be making one of these fun pillows for the hog shed in the near future! I just love it its perfect for the downstairs living room where I have lots of red's brown's and blue's.
We also got the buffet for the T.V. done a couple of weeks ago. I found this buffet at a local Antique shop for 40.00 It was perfect well, almost perfect I did touch up the paint abit and

I know it's been a while ...
And really this one is not a recent one but just in case you are starting to wonder about my slip covering business, yes it's been slow but it is starting to pick up a bit. I will be sharing more projects soon but for now I am sharing another past project.
This is one of my first projects I did in my new workshop for a gal's Husband so we needed to make it a bit manly This was one of those projects where money was no object I think she paid about 50.00 a yard for this fabric I was totally freaked out when I saw what she picked It was beautiful but 50.00 a yard!!!!

It's Here Its finally Here!!
Well after waiting almost a year Claire's Hog Shed has finally gotten some Country Living exposure. While the article itself features another occasional sale shop owner with some of Claire's comments added in, all of the pictures are from the Hog Shed ! OK so how lucky am I to get to be apart of the cute shop!!!!
and I even had a couple of my pillows make it into the photo's that they chose. I circled them the little pink pompom's one is a pillow that I made using some left over fabric from this chair .
I know I know, they don't mention me by name or any of that but it's still exciting and most of all for Claire because she has worked so hard for this. ( have I mentioned she is starting her own blog) yup soon you will get to meet her through her own blog, I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for letting me share.

Workin on The Bath
Freshening up the bath for summer and getting ready for company!! I have to say that this is my most favorite things to do.. give my home a little freshening up and when company's coming it always the perfect excuse!! and with inspiration from here I just had to do it!! The main bath didn't need much as I had already done most of the summer makeover early this spring but I did need to get a couple of new things
A new green towel 4.00 that I cut up and made into a fancy towel with a sweet ruffled edging and lace to finish it up. I was not planning on doing this but when I put the towel on the towel on the towel rack it hung down way too far into the wash cloths. so I cut it off and added some cute detail to it. With the extra green towel I added more pretty pink floral fabric and made two cute little hand towels
